Books

Music moves us.

Film gives it motion.

Writing is the origin.

Every book I’ve created is entirely my own.
Written, photographed, drawn, and edited with intention.

6 years, 300 people, 13 questions

A 6-Year Cinematic Character Study.
I interviewed 100 acquaintances and 200 strangers, asking 13 core questions to study human behavior, emotional landscapes, and hidden truths.

This multi-volume series translates those 300 real human data points into poetry written from the perspectives of everyday objects, archetypes, and elements.

Written, photographed, drawn, and edited entirely by Celeste Mowrer.

The Scope: 300 real interviews. 6 years of research.

The Themes: Grief, identity, survival, shame, and transformation.

The Goal: To witness human nature without flinching and give motion to silent stories.

The Social to Personal Eclipse Project

The Social to Personal Eclipse Project is a long-form poetic series inspired by anonymous interviews, human reflection, and the hidden emotional landscapes people carry through everyday life.

Each volume explores a different range of human experience through symbolic poems written from the perspective of objects, archetypes, elements, and voices. Every poem represents a real person, while preserving anonymity through metaphor and poetic interpretation.

Across the series, themes of grief, shame, love, identity, power, transformation, memory, and survival are examined through intimate, often unsettling truths. Some voices are tender. Some are fractured. Some are difficult to sit with. All are human.

This series exists to listen without flinching, to witness without simplifying, and to give shape to the stories people often carry silently.

The WildFlower

An adult poetic book elaborating on a wild perspective of love, loss, cultural differences, sex, and overall living. This book is the start of a writing project that forces human connection through fun and uncomfortable questions.

This is written through my personal perspective of experiences. Loud and feral answering the questions within layers of poetic writings. A combination of drawn art with photographs displayed for imagery.
