EP: Turner and Willow
Some love stories make the papers. Turner and Willow’s was buried beneath Murphy’s Road. Set in the haunted Louisiana town of Raven Tale in 1959, “Turner and Willow” follows two doomed lovers searching for freedom, money, and one final way out. Willow is trapped beneath the control of her preacher father. Turner believes the only way forward is through the water. Together, they run, but Raven Tale has never been kind to those who refuse to follow its rules.
A little country. A little rock ’n’ roll. A little Bonnie and Clyde, with a love story the town tried to erase.
Written and sung by Raven Morrow, “Turner and Willow” is an original song about survival, promised tomorrows, buried secrets, and the kind of love that refuses to stay dead. 🎧
If this strange little story finds its way into your bones, please check it out on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple music, share it with another beautifully haunted soul. Written & performed by Raven Morrow Story and concept by Celeste Mowrer.
Album: Free Will Is a Thing
This album is filled with years of stories, memories, and above all feral hope! Writing this was easier than feeling the words as I sung them. I wrote, sung, composed, and produced all this work. I wrote the music to be utilized in videos I intended to create. Keeping the words raw and focused on bringing new work to people who may relate.
May you enjoy romping on a pair of tires and hooves!
